Tonights addition was another super easy one to give my dogs. All I did was grate a carrot over the kibble. Each dog got about 1 tablespoon of the carrots.
Carrots are surprisingly beneficial for dogs. They are full of beta-carotene which turns into Vitamin A which is good for their eyes. They help to kill cancer cells because of the falcarinol in them. Carrots are packed with fiber which helps with digestion. There are almost too many benefits to mention. One thing you do need to be careful of when feeding your dogs carrots, is to only feed them in moderation. They are high in carbohydrates and can cause problems if they eat too many of them.
I hope you are enjoying all the additions that you can add to your dog’s food. I hope that you are trying some of them too! I know my dogs are enjoying all the variety. How is it going? Are you finding foods that your dog really likes or really doesn’t like? Tell me about it. I would love to hear about your journey.
