Yogurt is today’s addition to the dog’s food. Yogurt is a great addition because it is full of probiotics which aid in digestion. Probiotics kill off the bad bacteria in their guts and help grow good bacteria. You do not want to give a lactose intolerant dog yogurt because it will wreak all kinds of havoc on their digestive system.
I gave each dog about 1 tablespoon of plain greek yogurt. You do not want to give any flavored or sweetened yogurt to your dog. They don’t need any of that crap in their food. Double check the ingredients to be sure that there is no xylitol – which can be deadly to your dog.
